Amazing First Meeting!
What an amazing first book club meeting! I really enjoyed talking about The Glass Castle with all of those who were able to show up. It was interesting to hear all of the different perceptions of Jeannette Walls' life. Next time we will be reading The Atonement by Ian McEwan. If you were unable to make the first meeting but would like to still be involved, then we look forward to seeing you next time.

Hey ladies, Jenn was wondering if we could do a different day because her home school convention is the 7th thru 9th. Since school is out, would you guys be able to do that Tuesday, the 12th? Thanks! I'll get the invitations out as soon as we settle on the date.

ReplyDeleteOk, so after checking with Rebecca and making sure she had the date right :) I have rescheduled the book club meeting for Tuesday, June 12. Hopefully this will work for everybody. Invitations have been ordered and will be sent out as soon as the come in. I'm so excited about our next meeting! Look forward to seeing all of you!
ReplyDeleteThe good news: invitations came in. The bad news: Rocky got to them before I did. So, each corner has a little TLC from Rocky. I can still send them out as long as you all don't mind a little doggie germs. Let me know if you would still like me to send them.
